This new sales milestone comes to no surprise, as the game recorded a massive “2 million copies worldwide” sold on March 20th, a day after release.
In a heartfelt Facebook post released by Crimson Desert, their team announces:

Thank you to every Greymane who has joined us on this journey, experienced the world of Pywel, and supported the game. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without your support and we are truly grateful.”
The very popular game has continued to stay high on people’s radar, as it’s consistently achieved high positions in Steam’s Top Sellers Global chart, where it’s been on the list for ten weeks, and the United States version where it’s been on for nine weeks, proving the game’s intense popularity. Crimson Desert also ranks high on the Weekly Charts globally and in the United States.
Crimson Desert is described on Steam as “ an open-world action-adventure set on the continent of Pywel. Join Kliff on his journey to rebuild the Greymane faction and to save the land from a looming threat. From vast wilderness and cities to ruins and the mysterious Abyss, forge your path through battles and discovery.” With high reviews, the players of Crimson desert seem to be enjoying the game, and the game doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
