Publisher Focus Interactive and Developer Frogwares Studio release an exclusive trailer for the new Sherlock Holmes series game, Crimes & Punishments, in time for their E3 2014 appearance. Crimes & Punishments will be making a mark on the Sherlock Holmes series, as this time it will be having the Epic Unreal Engine 3, which will bring much richer, more immersive and detailed rendering of both the characters and the backgrounds. Crimes & Punishments is scheduled to release in September on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360. You will be able to see the game presented on the Focus stand at E3 at the West Hall, Booth 5512.
Besides the game engine improving the graphics; Crimes & Punishments introduces a new investigation techniques have been developed and it features 14 game mechanics. From the beginning of each of the six investigations up to the point when you arrest the killer and the moral predicaments faced by the players, the new game mechanics let you actually experience the feeling of being Sherlock Holmes. Use the incredible gifts and talents as you Sherlock Holmes, like the ability to guess the info about someone’s life just by observing them, or the ability to reimagine and construct the past events just by studying the key points of a crime scene.
There are six investigations in Crimes & Punishments and each of them is packed full of suspects you will be able to analyze using the clues you gather at the crime scenes or from the information you got during an interrogation. Every case will have a number of possible suspect, but it is up to you to decide who the real suspect of the crime truly is, by using your skills and deduction of the chain of events on all of the evidence you collected at the investigations.
