The creators of Alien: Isolation and Total War games have announced some good news for fans that will surely get them excited for what’s to come in the future. Creative Assembly is widely known for Alien: Isolation which was released in 2014. Fans have been waiting for a second Alien: Isolation game for years but one was never announced.
Creative Assembly is a gaming studio that has locations based in Horsham, UK, and Sofia, Bulgaria. According to gamereactor this announcement was made in the latest issue of Edge magazine by Rob Bartholomew the Chief Product Officer, Alistair Hope the Creative Director, and Gareth Edmondson, Creative Assembly’s Studio Director.
The new game will be a first-person shooter IP that will use the unreal engine 4. It will be a sci-fi adventure game. This game has been in the works since 2018. More information for the new project should come out soon or in the next few years since the project has been revealed.
The new game was described by Hope as an ” as-yet-unnamed-science-fiction FPS.” Hope has also said that the project was a “drive for attention to detail and authenticity” that will commit to “understanding the source material.”
Creative Assembly has been taking great care with this project for fans. As stated by Rob Bartholomew,
It’s our new IP, and it’s a world that we’re creating, and of course we’re wringing our hands over it and we really want to get that right. We want to understand what authenticity in a blue ocean or an open sky looks like, when you’ve got a blank page in front of you.
Join the team behind Alien: Isolation and Halo Wars 2 to work on our brand-new sci-fi shooter🔫.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technical Designer to join this ambitious multiplayer title and explore new frontiers using Unreal 4.
