Control’s Next Trailer Shows Off the Supernatural

Another trailer has been released for the upcoming supernatural title coming to PlayStation consoles next year, Control. Remedy Entertainment shows off more depth of The Oldest House, which is a type of realm where other dimensions are able to leak into our world. Many of the forces that do leak into the real world are not friendly and humankind has not unlocked all of the secrets that they have to offer. Players will be involved with the Federal Bureau of Control in order to discover how to better regulate the mysterious spilling into the world. Check out the new trailer below:

Gamers will be playing as the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control after inter-dimensional threats have invaded the agency in New York. The Director, Jesse Faden, will take players through her dark story and the allies that she will come across in this search for answers to better understand The Oldest House. Control will operate as a third-person adventure title where supernatural skills will be used to overcome the unknown. Character loadouts will be able to be edited in order to better suit the reactive environment around.

Side quests will be available outside of the main story that will range from discovering secrets, experiments happening in the Bureau, decoding ciphers, working with other agents, and more. The entire game takes place in the agency’s sprawling building that has been affected by this event, and in every corner there are ways for the player to overcome obstacles using “dynamic environmental destruction.” Jesse will also be able to perform rituals involving the supernatural that will alter her surroundings. The otherworldly game will no doubt take players through a dark world where surprises are around every corner.

Control is coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and Steam Store at an undisclosed date in 2019.
