Compulsion Games Searching for New Partnership

Now that Compulsion Games has been spun out by Xbox, but even if the company has become fully independent, it’s still searching for a new partnership to continue developing games. With the works they’ve created like We Happy Few and South of Midnight on its roster, Compulsion Games certainly has a good chance at finding a company willing to work with them.

Compulsion Games put out an official message to fellow members of the gaming industry on LinkedIn, saying the following:

We are expanding our opportunities to collaborate with Studios across the games and entertainment industry.

The full message is a formal invitation to other companies to work alongside Compulsion Games, offering their full artistic talent, their creativity, and the rest of their qualities to do so. They even went on to credit South of Midnight and the rewards it received as another selling point to catch the eyes of any potential partners.

There’s no certainty that Compulsion Games will be able to stay afloat on it’s own, so this invitation for a partnership may be just the thing they need to continue doing what they’re good at. Though, there’s no certainty that the company is bound to go belly up either. After all, the games they’ve created are well-liked among many gamers, and Compulsion Games has proven to both gamers and developers that they’re not afraid to innovate.

Compulsion Games has no made no public announcement of an official partnership as of yet, but many fans of the company and its games are eagerly waiting for any news on the matter. Being one of the five companies that Xbox spun out of itself during its reset, Compulsion Games continues to search for a new partnership as soon as it can. But right now, all that can be done is to wait and see if any company takes their offer, and what company that may be.
