It’s that time again as Geoff Keighley and the organizers behind The Game Awards have announced the nominees for The Game Awards 2025. Many have been wondering what would get nominated, considering how stacked this year has become. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads all nominees with 12 nominations, becoming the most nominated game ever in The Game Awards history. Expedition 33 is up for Game of the Year alongside Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hallow Knight Silksong, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Behind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yotei recieved 8 nominations each. Hades II got 6 nominations, Hallow Knight: Silksong received 5 nominations, and Split Fiction was nominated for 4 awards.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is The Game Awards 2025’s most nominated publisher with 19 nominations. Kepler Interactive follows behind with 13 nominations. EA and Microsoft each scored 10 nominations each.
The Game Awards is set to air live on December 11.
