During Epic Games’ State Of Unreal Event at GDC, the game Chrono Odyssey along with the “cinematic trailer, was unveiled. BONG-GUN BAE, the CEO of Chrono Studio, the studio developing Chrono Odyssey, unveiled the game along with JOON LEE, also from Chrono Studio, who translated what the CEO said.
Chrono Odyssey is an action-adventure shooter MMORPG that will be on platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, and it will also be on Epic Games. The game is being developed by Chrono Studios and published by Kakao Games. At this time, no exact release date has been announced.

Since 2021 we’ve been focused on creating an MMORPG that manipulates space and time. With our team of nearly 120 top-tier developers, it has expanded into an open-world action MMORPG where gamers can enjoy action, adventure, growth, and item crafting in our vast open world. In this open world, players will have to manipulate their environments by traveling between past, present and future worlds to save Setera.
Players will be able to customize their character and show off their personality in the game. There will be many options for the players to choose from as they are customizing their character, such as “gender, body types, facial features, hairstyles, makeup, scars, and much more. In Chrono Odyssey, players will be able to ” improve and progress the in-game economy by taking part “in lucrative activities” such as “harvesting, logging, mining, and skinning”. The resources players receive from these activities can be used to “craft valuable equipment and consumables.”
There is also an artifact, “chronotector”, that allows players to stop time around monsters or rewind a character’s time” which enables “more dynamic combat.” As for the open world of the game, it comes with biomes such as “grasslands, snowlands, swamps, and more”. So there will be a lot for players to explore within the game Chrono Odyssey. Another feature of this game is the “awe-inspiring visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5”.
