Players who have played Twisted Metal when it was release in the ’90s, will know what this game will be like when it comes to vehicular combat games. Pseudo Interactive, were the original game Developers who brought players the cel-shaded, vehicular combat game, Cel Damage, on the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in the early 2000s and was published by EA. And now Finish Line Games announced that Cel Damage HD will have the original six characters, three game modes, 10 vehicles, multiple weapon power-ups, and 13 arena-style levels, but now you will have the HD graphic experience while playing. The three game modes are deathmatch, capture-the-flag and racing. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions will also being adding a four-player split-screen, while the PlayStation Vita will be single player only.

The studio announced on Twitter that they will announce the launch date for Europe “as soon as we can.”

Even though this is multiplayer, this would include it only being local with your friends. Finish Line Games mentions that even though it is awesome to have the online capability added to the game, the original game itself was never designed for online play. With the team being as small as it is, it would be more extensive for all of them to change the game to allow the online capabilities. They do mention that if it does go well, they would like to revisit it in the future.
