Atlus seems to be incredibly busy as of late supporting Persona 5. With the recent inclusion of Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the registering of more domain names relating to the game, Atlus has been giving a lot of love to the latest mainline installment in the Persona franchise. This doesn’t mean that their other games aren’t receiving any care, however. It seems that there is a lot coming for the Catherine series soon, with one release confirmed for this year and the other likely coming before the year ends.
Thanks to the ESRB, who love revealing ports ahead of time, we know that Catherine has now been rated for a PC release. Sega also posted a potential tease on Steam, which gives more legitimacy to the news of the PC port coming soon. Atlus has not made any official announcements for the PC port as of writing, but the version of Catherine that is coming to PC won’t be the latest version of the game. The PC port will be the original Xbox 360/PS3 Catherine that released in 2011 and not the Full Body version releasing this year.
Catherine: Full Body has yet to be announced for a PC port and doesn’t even have a specific worldwide release date yet. Some time ago, Catherine: Full Body was announced and there is a litany of information that has been released since we last covered it in 2017. With a new love interest, cutscenes, events, and costumes, it is essentially to Catherine what Persona 4 Golden was to Persona 4. The game also has new story mode endings, making this less of a remaster and more of an enhanced version. Hopefully the new content will be brought to PC at some point in some form, potentially as DLC for the PC port of Catherine.
Catherine: Full Body will release in Japan on February 14, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
