Get ready for Pokémon all over the world with the release of Pokémon Go! This new jump into the realm of Pokémon will allow players to search far and wide in their own world for Pokémon with the help of iPhone and Android devices.
One of the principle values of the Pokémon games is the social experiences and community that have been built around Pokémon. Pokémon GO’s gameplay takes a cue from that community dynamic and has raised it beyond what the casual Pokémon gamer is used to. While they will still be able to trade and battle, players will also be able to explore new areas, neighborhoods, and communities in their own world that they might have never seen before.
Along with the game being released on mobile devices, Nintendo Co., Ltd. has developed and manufactured a device called Pokémon GO Plus.
The device will enable Pokémon GO players to play the game when they can’t use their smartphones. It connects to smartphones via Bluetooth and it notifies players of nearby Pokémon using an LED and vibration.
Pokémon GO will be available for download at no charge on the App Store and Google Play with in-app purchases being made available.
Pokémon GO will launch in 2016.
