It was mid March that Activision announced that they would be taking one of their biggest titles, and putting it into player’s pockets. That title being the Call of Duty franchise, with new pocket version known as Call of Duty Mobile. Throughout the summer, little hints and extras have been added into the game, promising wild adventures, multiplayer, and the sorts, but with no release date in sight. But now, with a launch trailer, Call of Duty Mobile is coming soon. Sooner than we expected:
Call of Duty: Mobile is coming to Android and iOS on October 1st.

While Call of Duty Mobile is connected to the main CoD franchise, it is its own standalone game. While it doesn’t seem to have a main campaign, it does state that it includes some of the favourite characters from the series. Alongside the characters, there are the favourite weapons that are obtainable in the game as well to use. All on the fan favourite maps, such as Nuke Town and Crash to name a couple.
With the characters, weapons, and maps that are favourites from the series, it all comes together to be able to do several types of multiplayer alongside friends or strangers in the several different game modes. There’s the 100-player battle royale, Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Gun Game, and others.
With Call of Duty Mobile finally getting a launch trailer, it’s got an official release date of October 1, 2019. It will launch Worldwide save for China, Vietnam, and Belgium (which means that there’s a possibility of there being a loot box system within the game). It’s currently up for pre-order for more iOS and Android devices. For more information, check out the Call of Duty Mobile website here.
