With the newest Call of Duty coming out in November, we could expect to see something new. Activision announced earlier this month that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s multiplayer will offer an “evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system.” However, they have not given too much details about what this entails. It was not until yesterday, when Infinity Ward tweeted that the moving system will be similar to Black Ops 3.
From this statement, it could be predicted that the double jumping mechanics, and wall running will make its way into Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. However, with these already included mechanics it would be surprising if no new ones were added since within this new Call of Duty there are new places such as space, and other planets. As of now there are not too many details on what these new mechanics will be. All that Infinity Ward has said is that if you have played Black Ops 3 before, then their take on the chain based movements will feel natural.
Infinite Warfare is scheduled to be released on November 4th for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC for a price of $59.99 or $79.99 if you want to have the remastered version of Call of Duty 4 included or $119.99 for Call of Duty 4 included along with the Season Pass for Infinite Warfare and Infinity Ward has stated that Call of Duty 4 will not be released individually, so the only way to get it would be through the combo with Infinity Warfare.
