Developer Full Screen Games and Play2Chill have announced a partnership that will bring Bugvasion TD to the Nintendo Switch. There is currently no release date set, but Play2Chill will port and publish the game in the near future. Bugvasion TD is a tower defense game where you protect your home from an invasion of alien-possessed bugs.
In Bugvasion TD you defend against the alien bugs by placing and maintaining towers in a variety of levels with a Micro Machines theme, taking place in various corners of the house. Along each of the different maps, players will be able to interact with a number of different objects that will help fight back the bugs, such as hot sauce bottles, ZEP dispensers, and glue tubes.
One of the main keys to success in Bugvasion is combining the powers of towers, special abilities, and environmental objects, in order to create high damaging chain reactions. Players will earn and spend tech points in the game’s skill tree to unlock and upgrade new towers and special attacks. Additionally, Bugvasion TD has also received a 1.1 update on Steam. This update adds a tutorial to a few of the game’s levels, as well as some additional music tracks. The update also comes with some minor bug fixes, and tweaks to the level design.
Bugvasion TD will release on the Nintendo Switch sometime in the near future. The game is also currently available for purchase on Steam for $6.99 USD. The game receives regular weekly updates and will receive the next major “Supercharged” update next month, which will contain even more additional content for the game.
