Blue Bullet has announced that Full Stride will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on July 16, 2026. The announcement arrived alongside new gameplay footage and screenshots showing stable scenes, races, replay features, and Photo Mode.
The latest gameplay footage shows the basic flow of the game, beginning with a stable scene before moving into the race itself. During races, players can use multiple camera angles, including a Jockey Cam that places the camera closer to the rider’s point of view. From that perspective, players have to read the horses ahead, the shape of the next corner, and the pressure of the pack while deciding where to move.
Full Stride has players participating as jockeys and competing for wins across different race events. The game emphasizes riding and race strategy over horse management, requiring players to make active decisions during events. Players have to react to the gate opening, position themselves among the pack, and time their push toward the finish. Race outcomes are dependent on more than just speed. Players must account for their horse’s running style, distance aptitude, stamina, and sprint ability when executing a race strategy. Even a horse with a strong finishing speed requires precise positioning before the final stretch, as a mistimed move can deplete its energy before the finish line.
Full Stride also includes online multiplayer for up to four players in the same race. In multiplayer, players compete against each other while still managing their position among the other horses. Outside of racing, players can edit racehorses’ names, appearances, abilities, and other details. Replays and Photo Mode can then be used after races to look back at key moments or capture shots from different angles.
According to the release date announcement, Full Stride has been developed as an independent project since its 2024 reveal, with support from racing fans, game fans, Patreon backers, and others who helped with development.
Full Stride is planned for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on July 16, 2026. The game is available to wishlist now on Steam and the PlayStation Store. For more updates, visit Blue Bullet’s X account.
