BlizzCon 2019 Set For November

Today, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that BlizzCon 2019 returns to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 1-2. In addition to the wide range of attractions and activities for attendees, BlizzCon will expand to include more active hall space at the convention center and the new Blizzcon Pregame Festivities, a fun and casual get-together running outside of the convention center on the day before the show. Tickets to the show will come in two waves, Saturday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 8.

There will be three BlizzCon Pass options. The new Blizzcon Portal Pass offers an array of perks to enhance the BlizzCon experience. It includes access to Darkmoon Faire during a new “Night at the Faire” event on the eve of BlizzCon.

The BlizzCon Portal Pass also includes an option to be among the first to enter the show on Friday and Saturday, preferred parking, separate registration and security lines, a dedicated lounge you can use and mingle with Blizzard employees and more.

The BlizzCon Pass offers the same general-admission access as in previous years along with access to the new BlizzCon Pregame Festivities.

The BlizzCon Benefit Dinner is back and offers a chance to meet and chat with developers, artists, and other people from Blizzard the night before the show. You also get the full general-admission access to the show and all of the perks that comes with the Portal Pass.

All three types of tickets will be available during both waves of them going on sale. The first sale takes place on Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 AM PDT. The second wave takes place on Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 PM PDT. The BlizzCon Portal Pass costs $550; BlizzCon Pass $229; and the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner costs $750.

Each option includes Blizzard in-game goodies and a choice of a BlizzCon Commemorative statue. The statue can either be a mighty Orc Grunt or a bold Human Footman in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Warcraft.

President of Blizzard Entertainment J. Allen Brack said “BlizzCon has served as a home away from home for the Blizzard community, a place where online friends can meet up in real life and new friendships are formed. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the show this year, reconnecting, celebrating, and sharing some of our latest developments”.
