Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced today the dates for their annual convention BlizzCon. The convention will be making a return to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 2-3. The tickets for the event will cost fans $199 for both days, however any pricing availability information for BlizzCon virtual tickets haven’t been made available at this time. The tickets will officially go on sale starting on Wednesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. PT. Then another round of tickets will go on sale on Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m. PT.
Some good news for the fans is that Blizzard will be giving chance to attend BlizzCon’s esports-centered opening week. The company also stated that they will be making a limited number a tickets available to BlizzCon Opening Week. The opening week before the convention will take place from Oct. 25-29 at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles.
Some of the events featured during the opening week will be the first few rounds of the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series Global Finals, World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Finals, the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship Finals. Also the Overwatch World Cup, as well as the Hearthstone Global Games will have their deciding rounds at this event.
BlizzCon 2017 held many exciting announcements like StarCraft II transitioning to free to play, a reveal for a new hero for Overwatch, and Hearthstone receiving a single player mode. Although there wasn’t anything pertaining to Diablo during the convention last year, maybe this year’s convention will have something in store for fans in that regard.
