While Blizzard is keeping busy with Overwatch, fans have been wondering if the company will return to the Diablo series.  Well a job posting on Blizzard’s Career page hints at what could possibly be a new Diablo game.

The job posting is for a Game Director on an unannounced project that will “lead the Diablo series into the future.”  Now we’re hoping it could be Diablo 4, but it could also be a new Diablo 3 expansion or even a Diablo Mobile game.  Hopefully it’s not a mobile game.

The current director of Diablo 3 is Josh Mosqueira, and we’re not sure at this time if this new game director will be his replacement.  This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a new Diablo game, around last year there was another job posting for an Art Director for a “unannounced project in the Diablo series.”

It’s been four years since Diablo 3 launched, so fans have been waiting anxiously to revisit the Diablo Universe.  Hopefully these job postings are for a whole new game, and not just some Diablo themed cards in Hearthstone.
