Long time fans of Blizzard’s fanatically popular sci-fi strategy game, StarCraft II, are in for a real treat: Nova Covert Ops, a downloadable single-player campaign, is getting an early release!
Players can delve into this highly anticipated new DLC starting March 29th in the US, and March 30th in European regions. The new content will feature nine new missions that take place over the three separate packs, and should cost fans $15 USD.

Developers at Southern California based Blizzard announced the early release date during a press release. They also went on to state that the new DLC will bring “new mechanics” to the “classic StarCraft II gameplay.”
Blizzard is also looking to reward those who pre-order the Nova Covert Ops: Mission Bundle now. Fans pre-ordering ahead of the official launch will also get a stellar Covert Ops skin for in-game Ghost units in StarCraft II.
If you are looking to gear up before its release, the StarCraft II Starter Edition is required to play Nova’s story, although it is not mandatory to have a saved playthrough of StarCraft II. And for those with skinny wallets, don’t fret, it’s absolutely free to download the Starter Edition.
As for word on the following two mission packs, we can look forward to a release on or around December 1, 2016. More updates soon!
