Pendulo Studios (Runaway, Yesterday, and Hollywood Monsters), YS Interactive, and publisher Microids are preparing for the upcoming release of their title, Blacksad: Under the Skin. As covered earlier, the comic-inspired narrative is a detective-adventure featuring a cast of anthropomorphic citizens set in a shady corrupted 1950’s New York City. It is currently expected to launch later this fall season for both PC and consoles. The title was also recently nominated and awarded “Best Action-Adventure Game” during this past Gamescom 2019 event.
After the reveal of their North American Story Trailer this past April, the team later announced the news that the project would be receiving a new release date. In the trailer, the game is said to be expected to launch on September 26th, 2019. However, the game’s release has since been pushed back to November 2019. According to an announcement posted to the Blacksad: Under the Skin Steam Store News Page, the new official launch date for the game will be November 5th. The team states that the delay will help by allowing for additional time polishing and ensuring a worthwhile experience for their players.
