New Jersey based small developer team, Zotnip Games, is making their first debut with their retro 2D point and click adventure game that takes place in Space, Bik, is now on Steam! It not only available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux, but it is available on iPad, iPhone, and Google Play. The regular price is $6.99, but you will get a discount until October 21st, where you will only have to pay $5.24 instead.
In Bik, you will experience a point-and-click adventure game that will remind you of classics like King’s Quest, Monkey Island, and Space Quest, plus many more that inspired this game. Zotnip Games wants to not only deliver a game that tells a fun and interactive story, but also provide an environment filled with atmospheric music and art. You will experience a game that captures the classic 2D pixel-art graphics, but the music in Bik is from a modern music synthesizers, which will give players the best of both worlds.
Bik takes place in Space as mentioned above, where the player follows a boy named Bik, who has been abducted by aliens while out camping with friends. Not all aliens are friendly, at least that is what is portrayed in some games like Alien: Isolation or tower defense games. Though in this case, the young boy meets two friendly alien mercenaries in this space ship, Ammut and Tatenen. After making friends with these mercenaries and joining forces with them, the young boy, Bik, escapes his abductors and tries to find his way home. “Along the way, Bik and his newfound friends outsmart hijackers, (eat some brownies), accept a perilous mission to find a missing alien, (make some sandwiches), foil a dastardly plot by an evil corporate empire, (argue with disgruntled robots), and save a planet on the brink of destruction.”
Ready to eat and save the galaxy all at the same time?! Then what are you waiting for?
