Big Buck Hunter’s Arcade1Up Cabinet Gets Pre-Order Information

First announced in June at IGN’s Summer of Games event, Big Buck Hunter’s Arcade1Up Cabinet finally gets details about its pre-order information ahead of its 20th anniversary. As said on the Best Buy website, the cabinet is available for pre-order for $550 USD. As the website also states that there is no release date announced for the cabinet, they said they will alert customers when the release date is decided. Along with no release date in mind, there is no confirmation if the price for the cabinet will rise once it gets released on a regular date.

As said in the official release statement for the machine, the cabinet will feature four games and two toy rifles. Titles such as Big Buck Hunter Pro, Big Buck Safari, Big Buck Hunter Pro: Open Season, and Big Buck Safari: Outback are all available on the 3/4. scale cabinet. With this available option being smaller than most cabinets (the ones seen in arcades), it also includes an 18×24 inch sign and matching riser (that will also have the ability to rise so it can be available for adults). The screen features 17-inch display (and even rumors of its own wifi just like the previous first-round release of X-men vs Street Fighter). As said in the official announcement by IGN,

Arcade1Up is proving once again to both their community and retro gaming enthusiasts, that they have what it takes to not only replicate the Big Buck Hinter arcade machine in a mid-sized scale but also do so at a high-caliber level. The Arcade1Up cabinet will be modeled after the classic Big Buck Hunter Pro arcade cabinet and will feature game content from four different Big Buck Hunter titles.

This is not the first retro-inspired 3/4th scale cabinet that Arcade1Up has announced in the previous months. Other titles for available cabinets include Ms. Pacman and Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcomand X-Men vs Street Fighter. As of now, there are no definite release dates for any of the cabinets, but pre-order information for these is also available.
