Bethesda has completed its first roadmap for Fallout 76 with the release of the third expansion, Wastelanders. Fallout 76 has gone free for the week to allow new players to test out the game and its newest expansions. Following the free week, Fallout 76 will be getting a discount on all distribution services for PC and consoles. Now, Bethesda has released out a brand new roadmap for 2020. Following suit with Fallout 76’s last roadmap, there will be three primary expansions with one for the summer, fall, and winter.
The summer will see the return of Fasnacht and Meat Week in-game events and an overhaul of community events. Three new changes are being made, a new team make filter will be added, additional and special legendary perks for high-level characters, and a new legendary boss event, “A Colossal Problem.” Additionally, there will be new atom bundles that can be gained and exclusive cosmetic items. This expansion is called Introducing Seasons.
The fall will see a rebalancing of combat and reward gains, in One Wasteland for All. One Wasteland for All will have two primary additions, a brand new questline “Steel Dawn” which primarily focuses on the popular faction Brotherhood of Steel. The second addition is daily ops which give scaled rewards. As well, a new bomb drop event has been added.
The final expansion, Fractured Steel is coming out in the winter. Fractured Steel will build off of “Steel Dawn’s” questline and see further integration of the Brotherhood of Steel into the Fallout 76 world space. New repeatable missions will be added, prebuilt interiors for player C.A.M.P.S. will be added along with a reworking of perk loadouts to make a more customizable character on the fly. Fractured Steel will add more daily ops, a seasonal refresh, and the “Holiday Scorched” event to the game.
