Bethesda has officially revealed the date for their annual E3 event making this one their fourth event dedicated to E3 in total. The publisher’s showcase will take place on Sunday June 10 at 6:30 p.m. PST. The announcement came by way of a short animated video with the theme “Creating Something Special” showed at the end.
The video features small paper cut out versions of characters from a few beloved series such as Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dishonored and Doom. Although the publisher has announced the date that their showcase will take place, there has been no hints on what they might show or what fans can expect from the event.
However, they did confirm that the event will be open to members of the industry, media, as well as the public. They also stated within a press release that details on how fans can register to attend the event will be coming within the near future.
For those who won’t be able to attend in the event in person, the showcase will be live streamed on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook or on Bethesda.net. Last year at Bethesda’s E3 2017 showcase, the publisher showed off Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch, Doom VFR, as well as Fallout 4 VR. Bethesda seems ready to get fans excited for the biggest week in gaming. There’s no telling if the announcement video is a sneak peak of what they might have in store for the showcase or not, but it does tell us that Bethesda has “something special” in mind.
