Bethesda has announced that the lucky individuals who pre-ordered Dishonored 2 will have the game in their hands a day earlier than worldwide release. With this announcement, they have released a brand new gameplay video. You can watch as Emily Kaldwin infiltrators the Clockwork Mansion by using a variety of skills, tools, and murder. Check it out:
As you can see, the game looks great and is fairly viscera. The Mansion lives up to its name as it has plenty of moving parts and weird contraptions. It is cool to watch as rooms shift and morph to a new shape. You can also see some of the combat mechanics of the game, such as parrying and shadow powers.
In Dishonored 2, you play as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano as you travel through the famous streets of Dunwall and Karnaca. The mad witch Delilah has seized the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin using horrific black magic. These cities have become dilapidated and run-down but contain the key to restoring Emily to power. Of course, just like in previous Dishonored games, you will have to employ a variety of tactics to avoid being seen or heard as you skulk.
The game is currently set to release on November 11th, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Bethesda plans on releasing “Save Anton Sokolov” tomorrow, which will be a “low chaos stealth and non-lethal playthrough of the Clockwork Mansion.” They will continue to push out content as the game gets closer to release, so stay tuned.
