Welcome back to another episode of ‘What is Behaviour doing now?’ Because the answer is: Sometimes even Behaviour doesn’t know. Well, Behaviour knew exactly what they were doing when setting up for the next chapter in Dead by Daylight. Now, it comes as no surprise to anyone that Behaviour would add in a franchised killer. They’ve done this before with Mike Myers and Laurie Strode from Halloween, Freddy Kreuger and Quentin Smith from Nightmare on Elm Street, and most recently with Ash from Ash Versus Evil Dead. But lot of times, when the characters are introduced, it’s through an announcement trailer before the chapter comes out, or through a community stream, like for the previous two chapters, “Darkness Among Us” and “Demise of the Faithful”.
But this one came out of nowhere, streamer Morf capturing the moment perfectly:
Ghostface from Scream is coming to Dead by Daylight. Now, with this no so subtle announcement leak, ‘The Ghost’ also had some of his cosmetics and some of his skills leaked as well. For the cosmetics, there is the classic appearance, but he also comes with a red mask that resembles the devil, found again by Morf.
As for his perks, only one was leaked, along with his basic power. The Ghost’s basic power is Shrouded Hunt and Stalk. The is the first completely stealthy killer. This is similar to how Mike Myers is only Stealthy up until he levels up his Evil Within power to level 2, and The Pig loses her terror radius when she crouches, The Ghost just has no terror radius when using this power. Shrouded Hunt and Stalk allows The Ghost to be completely hidden, being able to peek around corners, crouch, and can stalk survivors which gives them the Exposed status for some time.
The one perk that was leaked is Simple Formula. Everytime the killer’s obsession is hooked, he gains a token, and his terror radius (when not using Shrouded Hunt and Stalk) is reduced by 4 meters. This can be stalked up to 4 tokens. However, when a survivor rescues another survivor from a hook, the rescuer becomes the killers new obsession. All tokens will be lost when the obsession is sacrificed or killed.

As of currently, there is only that revealed for the upcoming Scream chapter. The rest of The Ghost’s perks have yet to be revealed, as well as the new Survivor (most likely from the franchise as well), and the map that will be coming to Dead by Daylight.
