You are a Raven, a bold audacious and funny little creature in Ravenous Greed’s Reveal Trailer, however, you weren’t born one, as you could guess, the player was ‘reborn’ as a raven. It’s last resort for its old life seems to be playing an awful lot of mini games to become the richest Raven in all of Ravenous Greed.
In bold black and green pixel graphics, Ravenous Greed reverts one to the past, as the bouncy npc’s and side screen bars really call back to older pixel games. The game tracks the number of funds, energy, time and more in those side bars so the player has an eye on everything while playing. To start with we see the raven’s birth, it bursts out of an egg like any other and immediately dashes to pick up a coin. It then uses its tiny body to push a crate to throw against a human in his path, the human disappears and a coin replaces them, the bird looks at the screen and smirks.
After the bird on human violence, it sneaks to its ultra secret safe and dumps all of its coins there. The bird then tries its luck in an “ARCADE”, there it tries all sorts of mini games, from grabbing the “orb” to coin in the hole, and more as the arcade machine explodes, raining coins. The next scene, humorously has the raven backflipping into a pile of money. There’s an acorn filled mini game, ride the dog mini game and graveyard game where the raven unleashes some kind of blasts at floating skeleton heads, but the raven flies into a gravestone and croaks, ending one of its lives. Ravenous Greed will be on PC, with a demo available on Steam, but the official game drop will be early next year.
