Bear With Me Gets Collector’s Edition, Console Ports, and Free First Episode

Bear With Me, released originally in 2016, is a three-episode point-and-click adventure game that received much praise when it was first released. Although it has been a year and a half since its initial release, the game’s final chapter was released just last October, and Exordium Games have just released Collector’s Edition among other announcements.

Bear With Me stars Amber, a ten-year-old girl with an active imagination, and her wise-cracking, grizzled companion, Ted E. Bear. The two are on the hunt for clues after the mysterious disappearance of Amber’s brother. The title has a heavy noir tone, and takes place in the wide-spread Paper City. The city is also filled with stuffed animals that are brought to life by Amber’s imagination. The game has players questioning suspects in Paper City, solving puzzles, and collecting clues in order to be one step closer to finding Amber’s missing brother.

The Collector’s Edition, which is currently available on Steam for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, will come with all three episodes of Bear With Me, the complete soundtrack of the game, a 90 page digital booklet with designs, sets, and concept art, and the puzzle and script design documents that were used when making the game. In addition to the release, Bear With Me‘s first episode will now be free to play on Steam in order to give players a chance to try the game before they decide to buy it.

Also, the folks over at Exordium Games are currently working on releasing console ports for Bear With Me. Sometime during Q2 of 2018, the standard edition of the title will be coming out for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for digital download. The Collector’s Edition will be exclusive to Steam for the time being, and it will be on sale for about $9 until February 15.
