Bayonetta 3 was announced nearly five years ago in October of 2017, and the game has just now received an official release date. Although fans were beginning to become worried about release times, Platinum Games has remained steadfast that the game would be released sometime in 2022.
Nintendo released a new trailer on Youtube that detailed the game’s official release date on October 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. The trailer featured new gameplay and demonstrated that the game’s signature fast-paced style will remain. New characters can be seen throughout the trailer in addition to general gameplay, including a hint about another Bayonetta that could be in the game.
Bayonetta engages in a bewitching battle against the Homunculi, a feisty new witch named Viola enters the scene, and… is that another Bayonetta?

Platinum Games also revealed information about the brand new “Naive Angel Mode”. The new mode is described by Platinum Games as “revolutionary” and will allow younger players to play Bayonetta 3 in the comfort of their living room or other shared spaces. By activating “Naive Angel Mode”, the game will censor out some of the more risque content that may not be suitable for every viewer who may cross the game’s path. The new game mode will likely attract more players who may be looking to censor some of the content for themselves or someone else who may be playing the game.
Relax, the witch is back and sexier than ever🌙
We’ve added the revolutionary “Naive Angel Mode” to Bayonetta 3 so more people can fully enjoy it👍

Although Bayonetta 3 was announced nearly five years ago, the October release is great news for the large community of players that experienced previous Bayonetta games.
