It has been a year since the title was previously delayed for 2019, but we excited fans finally have an official release date for the highly anticipated, upcoming action RPG title, Code Vein. For anyone new to the game, Code Vein takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has all but vanished. Some of the survivors are vampire-like creatures known as Revenants. These beings continue to fight for their survival by collecting blood to improve their gifts and abilities. When a Revenant doesn’t have enough blood, or gives in to their bloodlust, they can become one of the Lost, dangerous blood-thirsty monsters devoid of humanity.
The studio also released the Release Date Announcement Trailer for the game, which can be viewed below. The new trailer highlights more on the Revenants and their struggle for survival. Players will be able to control their gaming experience by crafting a character unique to their individual play style. Choose from multiple options in character design, outfits, weapons, and partners. Decide what skills, abilities, or gifts you want to level up. Create your ideal character to satisfy your combat style, or design the most unstoppable warrior to take on the Lost, or both.
Code Vein will be released in the Americas on September 27th, and be playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is currently available for pre-order on the studio’s website. Reserve your copy now to jump right in and join the Revenants in their war against the Lost on launch day.
