Bandai Namco announced a Closed Network Test for TEKKEN 8 earlier Friday morning. According to Bandai Namco, the purpose of the Closed Network Test is to test the game’s network and monitor player’s game-play experience. Players can choose from 16 playable characters and five stages in Ranked Matches with cross-platform matchmaking support.

Players in the United States, Canada, and Latin America can register for a spot in Network Test now until June 27, 2023. Those with PlayStation 5 Early Access will start on July 21, 2023 to July 24, 2023 while standard PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam users start July 28, 2023 to July 31, 2023. The Network Test is currently supported in 15 languages including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (LATAM and Spain), Japanese, French, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Polish, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Thai.
Closed Network Test Winners will be announced on July 19 for PlayStation 5 users and July 26 for Xbox Series X|S, Steam users. TEKKEN 8 is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam in late 2023 or early 2024. Register for the Closed Network Test on the TEKKEN 8 official website.
