From the independent game publisher Devolver Digital and game creator Kenny Sun, BALL x PIT and its team are celebrating the milestone of hitting 1 million sales of the game. This roguelite fantasy game has amassed this kind of huge sales in a short amount of time–the game debuted back in October 2025 for console and PC systems.

You did it. You bought BALL x PIT a million times. And now Kenny Sun has to make more of it.

BALL x PIT is set in a fantasy world where players have to fight through hordes of enemy monsters using various explosions and ball-like mechanics. A player may use a number of combinations of their balls to create unique attack moves as the level moves forward. Players must attack their enemies carefully–one wrong move can cause the player to start from the beginning of the level and lose their progress. Alongside the action-packed intensity of the game, players can expand their town, unlock characters, upgrade their character stats, and collect different kind of balls for their attack repertoire. The fast-paced nature of BALL x PIT, coupled with the explosions and hordes of monsters with a dash of slice-of-life, make it a game that’s has the attention of the players from start to finish.

With the upward success that BALL x PIT is experiencing, Devolver Digital  and Kenny Sun have already planned three new free content updates for the upcoming new year: the Regal Update in January 2026, the Shadow Update in April 2026, and the Naturalist Update in July 2026.

The planned updates will include new characters, new evolutions, new buildings, and (of course) new balls. Fans can expect a steady stream of new content to enjoy for 2026 alongside the explosive nature that only Ball x Pit can give.
