In Astrodogs you play as Komo, a shiba part of the space bounty hunters known as Astrodogs. Your mission in the game is to venture out and save different planets being attacked by the rogue corporation WOOFER. Players will make use of four different special weapons in order to wipe out the oncoming enemy forces. Among these weapons are homing missiles, remote controlled bombs, a hyper-beam, and a parry-shield. In addition to these weapons, players will also have at their disposal a slow motion mechanic in order to help them dodge and perfectly aim their shots. The game will feature ten different action packed levels that are designed to be replayable. Each level is bright and colorful, and is accompanied by an immersive and original soundtrack. By progressing through the game players will be able to unlock new skins and colors for their ship.
Astrodogs will release tomorrow April 8 on PC through Steam and GOG. The game will be available for $12.99 USD. Those who are still on the fence about whether the game is for them or not, are currently able to download a free demo of the game on Steam.
