After completing the Legacy of the First Blade, the series is ready to unveil the next DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, titled The Fate of Atlantis. Ubisoft recently released the launch trailer, showcasing some of the characters, enemies, and settings, and they look stunning. Fans can expect interactions with Greek Gods and Goddesses, mythical beasts, as well as some new packs and abilities. The new DLC is separated into three episodes: Fields of Elysium, Torment of Hades, and Judgment of Atlantis. Fans need not wait much longer, as episode one is set to release later this month.

In the monthly update posted earlier this week, the team shares details about the story behind episode one of the upcoming DLC. Apparently, players will find themselves in the gorgeous kingdom of Elysium, learning more about the powers of the Staff of Hermes. However, not everything is what it seems. The city falls into civil war, and the only way to escape is through the ruler of these lands, Persephone. The team also mentions that players will need to complete the Heir of Memories storyline before beginning The Fate of Atlantis story arc, as this marks the beginning of Feilds of Elysium. The Heir of Memories questline is currently free and available to download for all players.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis (Episode One) will be available for download on April 23rd. The DLC is included as part of the Season Pass, but can also be purchased separately. According to the game’s official Ubisoft page, episodes two and three of the DLC are planned to be released around June of this year. The game will be playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
