The long-awaited PC requirements for the hotly anticipated Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon are finally here. From Software posted on their official X account the needed specs needed in order to run the title on a PC. Thankfully, it looks like we won’t have to necessarily buy a brand-new PC in order to play this one. Most of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon’s requirements appear to have a lot of last-generation hardware, making this one of the less demanding titles on PC to be able to play. Even more interesting is the fact that From Software’s other major title, Elden Ring, actually recommended a lot more in terms of graphical output and storage in order to have an optimal experience.
As you can see in the post above, if you are not planning on using the much-desired ray tracing, then the bare minimum needed to run the title is easily within reach. Requiring only an i5 Intel processor, an NVIDIA GTX card from several years ago, and a paltry 60gb of internal storage, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is easily one of the less-demanding PC titles on the market, at least in terms of major AAA releases. However, if you do plan on using ray tracing, which ups the visual aspect tremendously, then you’ll need a bit of an upgrade with the graphics card. Even so, the processor on both the required and recommended side remains the same, albeit with some caveats if you use an i7 as opposed to an i5.
As we mentioned earlier, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is easily one of the most anticipated titles of 2023. Announced as a surprise reveal during The Game Awards 2022, the title marks the return of the much beloved Armored Core franchise and was From Software’s first real mainstream, success before they exploded into pop culture fame with the Soulsborne titles. The title got release date earlier this year, which is now only a little more than a week from now, meaning we’re extremely close to finally getting our hands on it, and we cannot wait.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon launches this month on August 25, 2023, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC.
