A new game was just announced that will get fans of strategy games excited. Ara: History Untold has been announced at the Xbox & Bethesda games showcase 2022. This game is a turn-based strategy game where players get to play out historical moments of time and make them their own.
This game was developed by oxide games and they have been working on this game for years. As stated in an article written by Michelle Menard(lead designer),

This game does not show history exactly as it happened as in Civilization V. In the trailer for Ara: History Untold shows historical figures, locations, and moments these scenes are accompanied by a narrator that tells players they can change history.
In Ara: History Untold players will “Build a nation and lead your people throughout history to the pinnacles of human achievement as you explore new lands, develop arts, and culture, conduct diplomacy, and go head-to-head with your rivals to prove you are the greatest ruler ever known”. This game will also let players explore different climates and places.
Players can also build their own nation and develop their own culture for their people. The decisions that are made in the game will affect the future of the nation and if it will still be standing at the end of the game.
Players can become insiders for Ara: History Untold. Becoming an insider will give players benefits such as getting updates on the game’s development, getting the chance to be picked to play Ara: History Untold while it is still in development, and being able to give feedback to the team about the game.
Ara: History Untold will be released in 2023 on PC and PC Game Pass day one.
