The new Apex Legends Season 5 gameplay trailer showcases Loba’s abilities and gives players a sneak peek into the Fortune’s Favor Battle Pass. The new season will begin on May 12th and feature new skins, weapons, and more. The trailer is short but reveals a lot to look forward to, including a complete redesign of Kings Canyon, titled Kings Canyon Unearthed.
A Beacon was added to the map and appears to recharge Legends’ ultimate abilities. Kings Canyon Unearthed is on full display as the trailer demonstrates the new “Broken Ghost” season quest for Season 5. Players will be tasked with unique hunts and finding treasure packs while fighting off enemies around the map. In the trailer, Loba showcases some distinct powers that should help achieve this. Leaked names for these powers are Burglar’s Best Friend, which is her ability to teleport, and Black Market Boutique, her ability to deploy staff that steals loot from opponents.
Cosmetic additions are seen in the trailer and can be collected along the way while doing these new quests. Confirmed skins include new looks for Wingman, Bangalore, and more. However, there were no revelations in regards to weapons, and it’s still unclear what Loba’s passive will be. Season 5 also marks a new season of ranked competition for both Kings Canyon and World’s Edge. The new content is sure to rejuvenate gameplay and provide new content for players to explore.
