Apex Legends, the first-person battle-royale game, has been one of the most popular games since it was released in 2019. As the game has grown more popular and players have begun to gain more experience and reach the game’s level cap of 500. With more players asking for the level cap to be increased, it seems like they are getting their wish. It has now been leaked that it will likely be boosted sometime soon.
The Twitter account SomeoneWhoLeaks revealed this information on June 21 on his Twitter account. SomeoneWhoLeaks has a history of revealing information including leaked gameplay, upcoming skins, and more.

The upcoming level cap increase is very exciting for the Apex community, especially those who have been playing the game since it was originally released. The game was initially released with the level cap set to 100, but players quickly began to reach that number. In December 2019, the level cap was raised significantly to 500 and has been set to this number since then.
One of the biggest impacts of the level cap increase comes from the items available to players as they level up. As players gain levels, they would receive items such as Legend Tokens or occasionally getting Apex Packs. Once players hit the level 500 cap, they no longer have an opportunity to level up and gain these rewards.
Apex Legends has always been a game that many people play on a daily basis. The increased level cap will add back another exciting part of the game for many players that have already reached 500. In the future, Apex Legends could potentially look to increase the level cap again to 1,000 as more players begin to level up and hit 700 in the coming months.
