An announcement has been made for an upcoming game titled Gilded Destiny. The game is set to release at some point in 2025, and it will be released on Steam. It is unknown as of now if it will be released to consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch. Part of the announcement is that Gilded Destiny, which is being developed by Aquila Interactive, will now be published by Hooded Horse. Gilded Destiny is described as a grand strategy game that takes place during the industrial age. Going into more detail on how the game itself will operate, and what the goals of gamers will be when playing the game, Hooded Horse said:

Take command of your chosen nation and lead it to glory through masterful diplomacy, sweeping industrialization, and decisive warfare.

Of note is that the developer of Gilded Destiny, Aquila Interactive, is also creating a game titled Global Magnates, which appears to be a very similar game stylistically. When it comes to the trailer itself, it begins with a monologue by what sounds like an immigrant who is describing leaving everything he knows and loves to follow his dreams. It also appears that he migrated to New York City, as the statue of liberty is in the background of the art being shown. It will be interesting to see if this is where all gamers will begin when they start the game, or if they can choose to start in another city or country. One of the aspects of the industrial age that was hinted at significantly in the trailer is the building of trains, which can also be an indicator that this will be a major part of the grand strategy aspect of Gilded Destiny. Also of note is that no gameplay appears to have been shown during the announcement trailer, with essentially all of the imagery being art.
