Animal Crossing Officially Crosses Over With LEGO

Following the success of Nintendo’s Super Mario Lego sets, Nintendo has revealed a teaser for another exciting crossover with LEGO. This new partnership will bring the world of Animal Crossing to LEGO, and while the announcement trailer was short, it was enough to excite Nintendo and LEGO fans across the internet.

The video revealed a snazzy lineup of LEGO versions of Tom Nook, Isabelle and other popular Animal Crossing characters.

Speculation on future LEGO collaborations have gone on and off in the past few months. In August a handful of credible LEGO insiders on X, formerly known as Twitter, alleged finding listings of five unannounced Lego sets on the Lego set tracker website Brickmerge. Prices for those sets ranged from $14.99 to $74.99 USD and while it’s not confirmed, most of the leakers believed them to be from the Animal Crossing collaboration.

That said, nothing has been confirmed. And while leaks and rumors should always be taken with a grain of salt, if the rumored release date, March 2024, is true, then more information will likely come soon.

Nintendo’s previous collaborations with LEGO have hardly been small. Alongside a giant Lego Mario figure and other Mario-themed sets, a LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was launched, where a version of the original Super Mario Bros was even playable. These upcoming Animal Crossing Lego sets could possibly be just as big.

For future updates, follow Nintendo and LEGO on their official social media sites and keep tabs on their websites.
