With summer coming almost to a close, the team at Animal Crossing: New Horizons game developers have come up with another summer update that will change the way fans will view the adventure and create your own world game. This update contains a plethora of bug fixes that fans were able to notice.
One of the updates players will see in the Animal Crossing game is where their tress that had Star Fragments were removed and replaced with other special items. Stated on the official Animal Crossing website, “In addition to any future trees, any existing Star Fragment Trees on Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands will be transformed into regular money trees with bags of bells on them following the Version 1.4.1 updates. Given that the Star Fragments trees were technically just money trees to begin with modified inside of an external save editor through hacking, it makes sense that they will now return to their original form now.”
They continued, “Note that you’ll lose any existing Star Fragments that were sitting on the trees once they’re replaced with bells, so consider shaking them before updating your game if you haven’t yet.”
They noted that this change follows an intense week of controversy in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons community of Twitter, Reddit, and other social media platforms after releasing the Dreaming with Luna feature. Once the Dream Suite feature was opened in the Summer Update Wave Two, players noticed that while exploring Dream Islands there was a notable “Cheating” option available to select. After a while, players who had the Star Fragment Trees on their islands started to receive reports from using the Cheating option which led to Nintendo to take it down officially off player’s islands.
With this new update and bugs being fixed in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players will get the full summer experience now that the issue was finally fixed. Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.4.1 Patch Notes update out now.
