With the release of “Wolves“, the season finale to DONTNOD Entertainment’s Life is Strange 2, the complete season for the game is now available. The season finale has Sean and Daniel on the home stretch of their goal to reach Puerto Lobos, Mexico. However, many obstacles stand between them as the brothers will have to evade the police, the FBI, and vigilantes patrolling the border.
Life is Strange 2 is a story about two brothers, 16-year old Sean and 9-year old Daniel who have to flee their home in Seattle after a tragic event changes their lives forever. Things get complicated with the manifestation of an exciting new telekinetic power that has far-reaching implications for Sean and Daniel and puts pressure on their relationship as brothers. Life will never be the same again.
Prior to the release of “Wolves”, DONTNOD Entertainment decided to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the choice and consequence system works in the game. It is different from the first game and other games that have a similar system. The main difference is that the choice and consequence system revolves around Daniel. Typically, choice and consequence systems work by getting an outcome by choosing specific options. In Life is Strange 2, the system is more complex as you essentially show Daniel how to act and behave like the older brother. The relationship between the two and Daniel himself can change drastically depending on the choices that are made.
DONTNOD Entertainment is a developer known for creating believable characters set in worlds that feel real. Their newest project, Tell Me Why will feature a transgender character as their past titles have proved that DONTNOD Entertainment takes representation very seriously. Each game they have developed has shown that. Tell Me Why will release in Summer 2020. Life is Strange 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
