Alien Isolation Has Been Announced For Mobile Release in One Month

Alien Isolation is coming to mobile in just one month! It will be available for download on both iOS and Android devices on the official release date, December 16th.  It is being built from the ground up for mobile. This survival horror game was first released way back in 2014 and received extremely positive feedback from its players. It was even awarded the BAFTA games award for audio achievement. The announcement for the mobile version was made on the developer’s, Feral Interactive, Twitter account along with a thrilling new trailer.


For those who are unaware of Alien Isolation, it is most well known for its story arc. The narrative follows a young girl, Amanda Ripley, who embarks on a mission to Sevastopol Space Station to solve a pressing mystery that was responsible for the death of her mother, Ellen. Fifteen years ago, Ellen promised young Anna that she would make it home for her 11th birthday. Ellen disappeared without a trace, never able to fulfill her promise. Anna learns that the flight recorder from her mother’s ship has been recovered, so she travels to the station to find out more about her missing mother. Upon Anna’s arrival, an alien monster is waiting. The player is then challenged to get Anna out in one piece.

The gameplay takes place in stunning graphics. The player must move about the station collecting weapons while staying hidden. Travel through ventilation ducts and be as creative as possible with how you form your weapons.

The art style of the game takes heavy inspiration from the iconic 1979 film ‘Alien.’ The monsters as well as the style of the ship. Upon its release, Alien Isolation will cost $14.99 to play. If you simply cannot wait until the game comes out you can pre-order it on the App Store or pre-register on the Google Play store.
