Aether Gazer, a gacha game developed by Yostar Games best known for Arknights, is currently approaching its Version 2.8 ‘A Determined Mind’ midpoint update on the Global Server. Players who have been following the Chinese Server update lists will probably already know about the two new Modifiers coming to the game Lu Wu and Zhuming. Lu Wu is a light type damage dealer taking center stage in the new side story and is already in the game. Zhuming is a water type sub dps who has been teased in the story since 2.0, and will also play a central role in the upcoming side story. The latest trailer ‘Between Pride and Fear, released today focused on Zhuming specifically, offering players a demo of how she can play in a solo capacity.
The trailer also teased a whole host of new content for players to look out for. First, three previous five star characters are getting a new skin: Osiris, Mengzhang, and Yingzhao, with Zhuming also getting a new skin on release. Besides that players will have a host of smaller events, new updates to the flaneur, home design section and a new boss to test their metal. This boss will most likely show up in the new story quest, possibly even offering players a trial Zhuming or Lu Wu to test out. The coming version will also strengthen one of the game’s earlier four stars, Radiant Feather Hera. A four star, fire dps that doesn’t have the highest use rate outside forced deployment fights. For players needing a fire dps, the free five star Jinwu might be the preferred place to look.
