Ambrosia Sky: Act One released last year as players assumed the role of Dalia, as she explores an asteroid colony that was devastated by an unknown contamination. Dalia will have to survive and harvest strains of hostile alien fungi, explore treacherous environments, and find meaning and beauty in so much death. The game was going to be released in three acts, but developer Soft Rains has announced today that Act Two will release later this year and serve as the climactic and final chapter of Dalia’s journey, delivering the complete conclusion to the story introduced in Act One.
Act Two follows and completes Dalia’s search for answers behind the crisis engulfing the cluster and her race to find Maeve. Soft Rains saysthat players can expect resolution to the questions raised in Act One alongside new mission locations, new exo-fungus to harvest and contend with, and an upgraded progression system featuring new upgrades.
Ambrosia Sky: Act Two will be released as a free update to the base game. However, the base price of the game will increase to $24.99 as a reflection of the game’s expanded, complete experience.
Ambrosia Sky: Act One is currently on sale for 15% off its current $14.99 price until Friday, March 13, 2026.
Soft Rains says the removal of Act Three allows Soft Rains to concentrate its full development efforts on delivering a cohesive, polished, cathartic ending to Dalia’s search for home.
“From the beginning, our goal has been to deliver a meaningful and complete journey for Dalia,” said Joel Burgess, Studio Head at Soft Rains. “Bringing the story to its conclusion in Act Two allows us to focus fully on crafting a cohesive and satisfying finale. Making it a free update is our way of thanking the community that supported us early and helped shape the game through their feedback.”
