Super Mario Bros. Wonder has quickly become the most anticipated recent Mario game since its announcement in June 2023. It was not the only Mario related game announced at that time. The Super Mario RPG, Wario: Move It!, Mario Kart 8 Wave 5 Booster Course Pass, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and a new unnamed Princess Peach game were revealed.
Additionally, with the departure of the iconic Mario voice actor Charles Martinet, speculation around the game has intensified further. While there isn’t an official successor for the Mario role, many on Twitter have cast their bets in, though most have taken the time to fill the discussion with jokes and memes.
Hopefully, this upcoming direct will be enough to satisfy Nintendo fans’ curiosity as they wait for the official release despite it only being 15 minutes. Fans can head over to the official Nintendo YouTube channel to watch the direct when it airs.
