A Glimpse at the Story and Gameplay of The Blood of Dawnwalker

Just yesterday, Rebel Wolves, founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz who served as the game director of The Witcher 3, released a cinematic trailer for their new upcoming game The Blood of Dawnwalker. It is a single-player fantasy AAA RPG that focuses strongly on the story and the narrative. The cinematic trailer showcased the glimpse of the characters, the gut-wrenching vampires, and the dark medieval-like setting.

The trailer first introduces us to the main character named Coen, transformed into a Dawnwalker and is human by day and vampire by night. His main goal is to save and protect his sister Lunka, who is struck by the plague. Coen was cornered by the human guards who has sinister plans to execute Lunka once and for all. Coen tried fighting back, but he was quickly held by the guards.

One of the men was suddenly attacked by a dark shadow that quickly slipped past them, and it was revealed to be one of the vampires. It was an utter bloodbath as the guards were taken out one by one. Coen and his sister were spared, and the vampires miraculously cured her disease.

The later half of the cinematic trailer showcases some of the gameplay. The trailer shows what seems to be an open world where basked by day and night, and there are hideous creatures lurking about even during the day time. One crucial detail that was told by the developers is that players will have 30 in-game days to complete the main story, but there has not been any information about how this prominent feature will really work, all according to DSOG.

The game will be releasing on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC according to Bandai Namco. There is no set release date for the game as of now, and there yet to be more information regarding the gameplay.
