With rumors of the Switch 2 constantly making way through the community, any business move that Nintendo makes is looked at through a skeptical lens. Today, French publication, Dealabs, came out with information that there will be 5 new bundles being sold in Europe.
The contents of the first two packs are Nintendo Switch Lite models with other contents unknown, but both have prices listed at £219. Another pack with contents unknown will instead contain the OLED model and be priced at £349. The 4th pack is a Nintendo Switch Sports pack that contains the base console, a pre-installed version the Nintendo Switch Sports, and 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online subscription which will all be priced at £299. The 5th and final bundle will contain the OLED model, a download code for the Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and 3 months of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, all priced at £349. Many assume the post eventually made will look similar to the one below.

This alongside the information given in the Spanish podcast, Un café con Nintendo, that a big promotion involving the Switch 2 will be coming soon and also seemingly confirmed that there will be a way to transfer data from your Switch to the Switch 2. They also confirmed that the aim is to have an announcement out before the end of September.
These bundles could be sold for a multitude of reasons, but many are speculating that this could be an attempt to clear out some inventory before the holiday season to make room for the eventual release of the Switch 2, in an attempt to compete for sales with the PS5 Pro which was announced today. This is however in contrast to statements saying Switch 2 hasn’t been set to release before April 2025 as we reported on in a previous article here.
