4K is a term you will be hearing a lot as the game industry moves forward. While 1080p was the darling of the last generation of consoles, PC’s are bringing 4K into relevancy.
So what is 4K? According to GeForce, “4K, 3840×2160 monitors feature four times as many pixels as the most commonly used 1920×1080 screens.” You may consider that “tech jargon” so just take a look below at the difference 4K brings.
If you’re a PC gamer and you’re looking for the best graphics available you need to be gaming in 4K. Of course the biggest caveat is price. 4K monitors aren’t cheap and you will need either a hefty single GPU or an SLI enabled rig. But – and that’s a big but – if you can it’s worth it!
