19-year-old game designer Alexander J. Velicky spent 2,000 hours making a Skyrim mod in hopes of getting hired by Bethesda, the studio responsible for the Elder Scrolls series.
The mod boasts 25 hours of new content and adds a new area to the game called Falskaar that is one-third the size of Skyrim. It also has 17 quests, an original soundtrack, original voice acting, and even new in-game books to read, all either done by project contributors or Velicky himself. Velicky says that Bethesda knows about the mod, but they have not contacted him yet. Anyone interested in trying it out can download it at Skyrim Nexus.
