At the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase today, Blizzard has announced the 5th and final class for Diablo IV, the Necromancer. The Necromancer class calls upon the dead, bending blood, bone and darkness to their will, subjugating the ranks of the undead to carry out their bidding. A new gameplay trailer was released as well, showcasing the game running on Xbox Series X. Throughout the trailer, the developers highlight many of the features coming to the game.

Blizzard has revealed that Diablo IV will launch next year in 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game will have cros-play and cross-progression for all platforms. Couch-co-op will be available on console.

Blizzard says that the heart of Diablo IV is player choice. This goes to the character customization, player skills, the exploration of the game’s shared world, the social systems, and the end game.
